Coloring Eggs At Grammy's House

Of course we had to do a batch of eggs when Daddy was home to get to be part of it. So, here are a few pictures from Joshua coloring eggs at Grammy's house.

By now, he had the hang of the idea that the eggs go into the coloring. He dropped them in there like baseballs though.

Here he is at least attempting to be gentle. It is so amazing to me that he is only 20 months old! He is so smart for that little!(yeah, yeah, I know that I am partial.)

Included in the egg coloring kit is a matching tiles game. We cut it apart and let Joshua work on it. He was pretty good. Jesse would pick a card and tell Joshua to match it.

Toward the end, we just decided to let Joshua pick the eggs up out of the cup. He was a little messy by the time we were done.

He had a tendency to want to crawl up on the table with the eggs to get them.

This picture was really cute. He got his egg out of the water and was showing it....then, he bit it, shell and all.

I know that he is a little too small to do some of the things that we let him do, but we are glad that we have the memories from them.

Pizza Night!

Everyone at our place loves pizza night! We don't have to cook! Joshua loves to eat pizza!

Here is my little buddy with his mouth very full!

He has decided lately that he doesn't want his pizza cut for him, he is big enough to eat it like the rest of us.

MM MMMM Good!

The kid just shovels it in!

Coloring Eggs At Rachel's

On Friday before Easter, I took Joshua to Rachel's house to color eggs with Isaac and Audrey. They had so much fun playing together. I thought that it would be a lot harder keeping Joshua under control that it was. We only had one incident that was a little rough. Joshua decided to dump a cup of green water all over the table and floor. It was pretty smooth sailing once we got that cleaned up.

Here are Joshua and I dipping his eggs into the water.

He thinks that he is so big! He kept trying to yank his arm away and do it on his own.

Here we are after our first batch is out and dry. Joshua is putting the stickers on the eggs.

Needless to say, this egg lasted about 10 seconds unbroken after I let go of it.

I had to put this one on. This is precious Audrey. She is such a doll!

Joshua and His Pals

My little buddy has become quite the social butterfly. He has lots of kids his age at church and some kids that we know from outside of church. He loves having people over....as we all know, so do I. So, it works out well. Here are some pictures of Joshua and his little pals.

Joshua and Timmy

Close up. Aren't they so cute?!

Ya know, I LOVE this bounce room! It fits perfectly in the open space in my bedroom and kids that come to our house love it. Here are Carter and Joshua.

Now Alex has joined the group.

Tim & Timmy

Train Ride

We picked Timmy up the other day and we went to the mall for a train ride. My friend's grandpa owns and operates the train and he let the boys ride for a long time.

They had a blast and they were so sad when we had to get off.

Blizzard of '08

There was no snow forever this year! Then, it hit us all at once! We got like 10-12 inches of snow a 24 hour period. It was awesome! When we pulled out of our driveway, you could only tell you were on the road by staying by the mail boxes. Here are a few pics of the snow.

Mom and Dad's road didn't get plowed for the whole 24 hours. The snow was blowing so bad that the road crews were doing good just to keep the highways clear. You know us though, out and about in the truck.

Jesse is a pose.

You know that you have a serious snow blower when it can suck up an extension cord and not even know it until you are finished with the driveway!

Here is my little buddy out and about in the snow after it stopped.

New Favorite Spot

Joshua's new favorite spot to go and sit is inside the TV stand. He pulls everything out and gets up there.

Planting the Seed

I have already planted my pepper plants in little pots to start growing. If I want them to be ready when the tomatoes are, I have to get them going early. Joshua planted some of his own seeds. He had so much fun.
Here is Joshua with Mommy planting.

And here is daddy helping him. Daddy is a little more brave. He lets Joshua do it completely on his own.

BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!

We have been very busy people lately! It's been run, run, run, run faster and run a little more. I am trying to get the house cleaned up and running a little more smoothly. I am also quitting work for The Pampered Chef. I have been putting more money into it lately than I have been making off of it. I think something is wrong with that ;-) So, if anyone has any orders that they would like from here on out, you can contact Cynetta Seekins at 669-2995. She is my recruit and she would be happy to assist you.

Jesse is also starting a tree trimming business. We are up and running and looking for some work. So, if you know anyone who needs trees trimmed or dropped and stumps removed, please have them call us at 416-2867 (Jesse's Cell). In just a little while I am going to be starting to do his scheduling and such so that the numerous phone calls don't interrupt with his day job. Also, softball is getting ready to start. YEAH! I like the summer season...we'll see if he will still be playing in the fall. Fall season didn't go so well last year and I have asked that he not play it this year as it takes away from a LOT of our family time.

Joshua is growing like a weed. He does some of the funniest things now and he thinks that he is 1 1/2 going on 40! He definitely has his own personality...unfortunately, sometimes it is far too much like his mom's. The last couple of days, he has had a yucky nose and throat. This makes him exceptionally fussy and clingy. So, I have accomplished nothing in the last two days. It's ok though. Sometimes, that's how it goes. I hope that you enjoy what I get posted today. I only have until Joshua wakes up as he will want to be held the moment he realizes that I am not in the room.

Done for the Day!

So, I am caught up through February! Finally! That is also the end of the 3rd camera. LOL! The next things that I post from March will be on the new camera....the one that I actually like...at least I like it....However, I don't love it. But, it will work. I got a SUPER deal on it. Everything that I posted today is listed to the right -----> under the march heading. Everything under there is new. Have a great rest of the week everyone!

Sledding at Aunt Sharon's

Finally, we got a big snow for the year! Jesse came home from work early and we went down to Aunt Sharon's house. They have the best hill down the lane from them!

Here is Daddy taking Joshua down the hill. Joshua did not enjoy this type of fun and screamed the whole way down.

Here are Jesse & Christopher climbing back up.

Here are all four of us. Joshua was not happy by this time. He doesn't like being cold.

He did sit in the sled and let me pull him around though. He likes to try new things as long as he can see Mommy or Daddy while he is doing so. Joshua and I went all the way down the hill in slow motion. Let me tell ya, that is hard on the legs!

Here is our little family climbing back up.

Joshua walking didn't last very long.

Here I am pulling Joshua back down the hill. It's time to head home and Joshua is definitely letting us know!

Look at my handsome guys! Rosy cheeks and all! I think this is one of my all-time favorite pictures of them.

Mr. Bubble Head

Here is Joshua in the bath tub. We are just now starting to play with bubbles because the baby bath stuff we were using before didn't really make any. We bought REAL bubble bath now. ;-)

Got a little in the eye.

Now a little in the other eye.

"Hmmmm...."

".....What is the meaning of life?"

This boy is my favorite boy ever!
