Out of the mouthes of babes....

I can't really update pictures right now because our home computer crashed the other night....hopefully, Jesse will be able to recover all of the pictures that were on it! However, Joshua has been saying some really funny things lately(at least they are funny to me). I wanted to blog them to be sure that I didn't forget...
He has become Mr. Little Polite lately. He can ask me for something and when I give it to him he says "Thank you, Mommy", without me having to say "Now, what do you say???" Everything is please and thank you...not quite sure where he gets it ;-)
This morning, I was sitting at the kitchen table and Joshua was playing with his trains on the floor. I started sneezing and Joshua jumped up and ran to me from across the room. He said "are you ok, Mommy?" He put his arm around me and started patting my back. My little caring boy!
A little while after that, Joshua was standing next to the kitchen table and was playing with some of his take-along trains. He had Madge(the train hauler) in one hand and Harold the Helicopter in the other. Madge said to Harold: "Hello, Harold! Welcome to the Island of Sodor! Let me show you around!" I love his imagination! It pulls him into the world where he is playing! No imaginary friends yet tho....who needs them when you have 50 trains to be your friends?!?!?!
Just a couple cute/funny things that he has said today. I should post them more often so that I don't forget.

BUSY BUSY BUSY!!!

So much has happened since I last posted on here! I am officially a blog slacker! You know it's bad when Angie updates her blog more than I do!!! SO, I am going to give you a quick run-through of what all has been happening in our lives.

Fred and Hollie moved away from us :( They aren't that far but the tough economy is making it hard on all of us to get together...

Here we are loading the trailer. I with that I had taken a picture of the inside.

Lastly, I went to the McCain/Palin Rally with Aunt Sharon and Christopher. Talk about a blast!

In this picture, yes, it is still dark outside. That is because it is like 5 AM and I have already been there for an hour and Sarah won't be there until like 1!!! It's me and Aunt Sharon.

Here are the three of us, Aunt Sharon, Christopher and I.

I want to be Sarah :)

Well, that's all that is on the computer. I still have a ton of pictures to take off the camera. But, here is a start!

First cheeseburger!

I had to take my car into the shop and have the computer replaced. We we out and about at lunch time so I decided to see if Joshua would like to try a McDonalds cheeseburger. He was so adorable eating it that I had to whip out the camera. He actually ate the whole thing! So, we have upgraded from nuggets to burgers(at least we now have options!)

He makes me laugh the way he crosses his legs like that in the car.

Generations

We went to Joe and Laurie's one night for dinner and when we were getting ready to leave, I got a picture of the three generations of Hofele men. Isn't it adorable???

Catching up

I am going to attempt to try and catch up in the next couple of days b/c I know that I will have a ton of pictures after this weekend of Joshua's party. So, hang in there.

Triathlon

Now, I had to start with this picture b/c it is priceless! I will unfortunately have this type of image burned on my brain! Can someone PLEASE tell Tim and Todd to wear real clothes!!!??? ICK!

So, anyway. Jesse ran in the Triathlon with Tim. Lori and I saw them off at the river and then jumped in the car and quickly drove to where they would get out to give them dry shoes. Then, we ran home, made breakfast and then came back to the park as they came in.

Here are the guys getting ready...

...waiting in line...

...and they're off!

Out of the water. You can't really tell but they are soaked b/c the canoe capsized.

And here is Jesse at the finish line. I was really proud of him....gotta be honest, I thought he would pass out! LOL!

Joshua at the Zoo on June 10

I know, I know. I am officially a blog slacker! I haven't posted in FOREVER! I blame it on being sucked into facebook! Here are a few pictures from our trip to the zoo on June 10th. Mom, Sarah and I all went to take Joshua.

The Manatee is one of my favorite exhibits. I get some of the best shots in there!

Aunt Sarah and Joshua.

Grammy and Joshua are taking a break.

Checking out the penguins.

We ran into Cynetta. She had Noah, her niece, and a neighbor with her. Joshua was very excited to see Noah.

Here is a picture of the four of us. I love taking Joshua to the zoo with multiple adults!

Here is Joshua visiting fluffy...world's biggest snake!

Posing with Grammy by the elephant building.

Joshua and the Rhino are checking each other out.
