Reserve

Cynetta and I took Joshua and Noah to the reserve to check out the new stroller...while that didn't go so well for us, I got a couple cute pictures.

Joshua and I stopped and sat on a swing by the water.

...a little off-center because I was holding my arm out taking the picture.

This is as close as we get to the lake here...

Front Porch

If the front door is open, Joshua is outside. It doesn't matter if it is hot, cold, rainy or dry. He wants to be outside. I took a couple pictures using the b/w setting on the camera. Something about the deck says "take pictures in black and white"

I was going to crop some of these, but I couldn't figure out how...this is the first chance I have had to post in FORVER, so I just posted them.

Just playing

My little buddy is getting so big! He can play by himself without me hovering less than a foot away now....so sad, so sad :(

We go from the crawl...

To big-boy walking.

It's funny how he sticks his belly out...

On the playground at church...

While I was working on the float, Emily and Daniel came to play with Joshua for a while. Joshua loves them! Usually when I am not around, he is upset. Look at how much fun he has with them!

Playing with his buddy

Joshua and Noah are the best of buddies. It's a little bit of monkey say, monkey do. LOL! We stopped by their house and Joshua and Noah got to playing on the Disney Ride-on.

They have so much fun together. Joshua has even started saying "Noah"...or something like it. LOL! You can tell that they spend a lot of time together...they kinda act like they are siblings sometimes.

New Carseat!

We got Joshua his "big boy" carseat! I can't believe it's that time already! I read this story online once about a tragic accident where the child was only in a booster seat...so, Joshua now has a car seat that I can put him in until he is 80 pounds and he is still in the 5 point harness. LOL! Jesse was in the 7th grade when he was 80 pounds!! Wouldn't that be funny?

This is when I first took it out of the box...not sure what is going on with my red-eye setting. Joshua was pretty excited.

All strapped in and going for a ride.

All smiles, in his jammies, in his new seat.

We stopped to see Aunt Sarah.

I'm pretty happy with the car seat. I was afraid it would be a pain to move from car to car, but it really isn't that bad. A little heavy, but the process isn't hard.

Playing at the Park

Last night Cynetta and I took Noah and Joshua to the park. We walked for a little while and then we let the boys play.

My smiling boy! This is his first time on the swings. He had such a good time with his buddy Noah.

He thinks that he is WAY bigger than he actually is! Look at him just climbing up the stairs!

Up, up, up!

He looks soooo much like his daddy here!

You can't hear in the picture but Joshua was standing there going "vrmmmm, vrmmmm"

This is actually Joshua going down the slide...it looks like he is going up.

My little boy is getting so big! I can't believe that he is over a year old!

Now that the weather is getting cooler, I am hoping to take Joshua to the park a lot more often. He had such a good time and I wish that daddy was there with us.

Thomas the tank engine!!!

We took Joshua after church on Sunday for "A Day out with Thomas". I am soooo glad that we took him! He LOVED it!

This is Joshua when we came around the corner and he saw the life-sized Thomas for the first time. He definitely knew who it was!

Here he was telling Daddy who it was.

This is Thomas

Of course, since Grammy and Pappy came with us, Joshua made out like a Bandit! He got two shirts, a toy train, an 8 x 10 picture of him and Thomas, a new Thomas the Tank Engine diaper bag, and I got all the Thomas paper and stickers to scrapbook.
Here is Joshua picking out his train.

Here is a picture of us next to Emily. If you don't know who Emily is, she really knows her stuff ;-)

Dad video taped the train ride...

And here is Grammy and Sarah

The conductor took a minute of his time to pose with us for a picture.

oh, Joshua got this balloon too...

He was not a big fan of Sir Topham Hat. At least he took a picture with him. The lady behind us in line was trying to literally drag her son up there and he was kicking and screaming the whole time. I thought, NO WAY! If he didn't want to that bad, don't make him!

This is a side view of Thomas.

Family picture.

LOL! Joshua got this ball too!

Aunt Sarah was tickling him on the way home. He had such a good day.

It was a great day! I would totally recommend a day out with Thomas to anyone who has kids! It was awesome!

Grandma is in Heaven

We had Jesse's grandma's funeral on Saturday. The turnout was amazing! Afterwards, we went to the church for food and a family fellowship. Here are a couple pictures of the family. Jimmy and his family are missing, but that's ok.

Here is Grandpa and the kids, Bobbie, Mike and Linda(Aunt Ninny).

And here is all of us...

Isabella is 1!

I had to work Friday night so Jesse took Joshua to Isabella's first birthday party. Jesse said that Joshua had a blast. I called a couple of times to check in on them and Jesse was always telling me that Joshua and Isabella were always in the ball pit together.

There's the little birthday girl!

They always play so well together! I can't get over that neither of them is very possessive of their toys.
