More Playing in the Snow!

We finally got a nice, big snow! Here are a couple shots of what it looked like when it was all said and done.

Joshua was so impatient all day waiting for Daddy to get home. Here he is while waiting for Daddy to get ready to go out...

Joshua was trying to pile snow on the dog. Dakota waited on Joshua to get a big arm load of snow and then he just walked away before Joshua could pile it on him...

A Few Random Shots

Here are a few shots from here in January....

Joshua is constantly asking me to take pictures of him lately. Here he is cuddling with his bear that sings Jesus Loves Me. He was so cute rocking it and singing to it!

This is one of those pictures that Joshua will probably hate when he is older. It's pretty funny now. He is all the time putting on Grammy's heels and walking around!

My friends from church took my to Olive Garden in a pre-chemo party. It was so much fun! We had lunch, spent some time together and they gave me a basket with all kinds of lotion, bubble bath, slippers and even the next season of House for me to watch during my treatments. It was a blast and here is a shot of Joshua and I.

Joshua and Dakota. That dog takes such a beating from Joshua on a daily basis but he handles it well. Here Joshua is "nicely" loving on him.

This is another instance of "take a picture of me, Mommy". Yesterday morning, I was laying on the couch and Joshua was having a fruit snack and he wanted to make sure that I captured the moment. I will turn him into a picture addict too..

Alex Turns 3!

Joshua's friend, Alex, turned three in early January. They mostly had a family party but Joshua was invited. He had a lot of fun with Alex and made some new friends.

It was cake from Taste of Elegance...FUNNY STORY! I was talking to my friend yesterday who WORKS at Taste of Elegance! Their cake comes from a box! You can go to the store and buy the icing! That is some crazy expensive box cake!

Joshua and Alex's cousin had a wrestling match. Joshua is into powerslamming people when they wrestle. I just noticed this while I was posting this picture, ...JOSHUA IS STANDING ON HIM!

We really like our friend Eric, Erica and Alex and we always have a good time when we see them...unfortunately, they live like 30 minutes away and we only see them like 4 times a year! We need to get together more! Jesse and Eric get to see each other all the time at work tho!

Playing in the Snow!

These are pictures of Joshua playing in the snow the 17th and 18th of January. I love the look of the snow and I love the pictures, but I DO NOT like to go out in the cold!

Joshua, however, LOVE to go out and play in the snow...here he is all dressed and waiting for Daddy to get home from work...I had to call Jesse like 3 times to find where he was because Joshua was so impatient.

YEAH! Daddy finally got home!

This picture cracks me up! He is a mini version of Papaw...NO BUTT!

Joshua felt that Dakota needed to play with the snow too. He would pick up big piles and put them on the dog's back.

...and here he is trying to explain to Daddy that Dakota likes it...that he wants to play in the snow too!

I didn't realize just how much snow we had those days...it was a little deeper than I thought...

I let Joshua have his first taste of sugar snow...Jesse was totally against it, but, hey, I grew up on the stuff! Just fresh snow sprinkled with sugar. Joshua loved it!

Here is Joshua at Grammy and Pappy's house. He and Daddy are going to go "sledding"

"sledding" means that Joshua rides and Daddy pulls...mommy is WAY too paranoid for them to do hills yet...Joshua likes to play in the snow but it he gets his face in it or his hands cold, we are no longer having fun, we are screaming.

This hat makes me laugh! It is ALWAYS covering his eyes!
