Rainy Day
So, it was supposed to be nice on Monday and Tuesday and then rain the rest of the week. However, it rained on Monday and Tuesday and then it is beautiful outside today. Go figure! Joshua has really taken to the bay window on the front of the house. He stood on the couch and watched the rain for like 30 minutes yesterday. Every once in a while, he would tell me what he thought of the rain.

Pampered Chef Party!
Tonight we had the Pampered Chef Mystery Host Party. Beth won! YEAH BETH! Now, we just have to figure out how to get her stuff to Texas and the rest of the stuff here. While we were partying, this is what they guys were doing...does this count as in bed together?

Back to the Park
After breakfast on Saturday, we went back to the park. Joshua really loves it there. The water was a little colder than last time so it took him a while to want to get in, but once he did, it was a blast as usual.
Daddy's protective hand is always there...just in case.

Rob's birthday breakfast
Saturday morning we went out for Robert's birthday. Joshua loves to go out to eat! He is doing much better about getting more into his mouth and less all over the floor. I actually didn't have to crawl around on my knees after his was finished picking up after him. He had eggs and pancakes and blueberries and fruit. I have really never seen a kid who loves to eat as much as buddy.
His first bite of blueberries was funny. Jesse didn't let him eat them by himself because we didn't want them to ruin his outfit but he really enjoyed them.

I bet that when people look at us, the make fun. We are always doing stupid things to get a reaction out of Joshua.

Old Friends
Last night we went to Addy's 3rd birthday at Roger & Hazel's house. We haven't seen Beth and Joe in FOREVER! We hadn't seen Addy since she was just born. They live so very far away! I was a good time. It would be so nice if they lived around here. They are some of the few parents left who believe in disciplining their children. This was the first birthday party that I have ever been to for a child where the child was not totally spoiled and ungrateful. Addy thanked everyone after she opened a gift from them and was very gracious about it. With Joshua's first birthday coming up, I know his party is going to be HUGE but I don't want him to be a brat.
The theme was Strawberry Shortcake. It was adorable!
Joshua had such a good time playing on this John Deere that I can't wait until he sees the ride-on toy that we got him for his birthday!
Playing a little b-ball with dad.
Addy's brother, also a Joshua, was a huge help with getting all of her new toys open. He is also one of the most polite children on the planet!
Here is the birthday girl and mommy.

Playing
Joshua has discovered that he can play on his slide by himself. He makes me a little nervous b/c i am always afraid that he is going to fall back down, which he does, but he doesn't hurt himself. He only knows how to get to the top by climbing up the slide though. He's going to get hurt with other kids if he only goes up.
He figured out how to get in underneath but he couldn't figure out how to get out...I couldn't help but laugh.
